Community Partners

Bonner Leaders are required to serve 8-10 hours a week at their selected community service agency each year as they continue to gain hands-on knowledge, skills, and abilities. By the end of their Senior Year, Bonner Leaders will have accumulated 1200+ service hours.

"The Bonner Program allowed me to make a difference in my community and learn how to engage as a leader. I was initially drawn to the program due to how it connected work-study students to local organizations. The ability to work in a space that assists the community is invaluable. The program itself helped nurture skills such as communication, leadership, and responsibility. Getting to work with such incredible community partners and peers has greatly enriched my time at Mason. " - Bonner Student

Community partners are essential for George Mason's Bonner Leader Program. We believe in ensuring mutually beneficial relationships by ensuring students are prepared to serve and working towards community-identified needs and projects.
