Our requirements for students wishing to become Civic Fellows are:
- Students must be in good academic standing with George Mason;
- Commit to 8-10 hours of service at their partner site;
- Commit to attending bi-weekly meetings of the Civic Fellows program and participating in any activities of the program.
- Attend Civic Fellows Training
Our application process is as follows:
- Applicants will submit their applications by June 28th at 11:59PM. (Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis)
- All students invited to participate in interviews will be notified by July 5th and sent a link to sign up for virtual interviews on July 11th and July 12th.
- Finalists will be notified of their site placements by August 1st.
- Students must commit to a full year of service at the community site, beginning September 2024 - May 2025.
