NCLC 498: Virginia From the Ground Up: Exploring Smart Growth in Northern Virginia
January 7-10 and 13-16, 2014

This experiential learning course will explore exemplary neighborhoods in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC to learn about the principles of smart—and not-so-smart—growth. The eight days over two weeks will be spent walking through and experiencing neighborhoods such as the U Street Corridor, Clarendon, and Capitol Hill.
Total course fee is $1500 and includes tuition, some lunches, and transportation to places not accessible by public transit.
Space is limited! To reserve a spot in this course complete the appropriate forms and return to FS. A $500 non-refundable deposit can be paid either by personal check (made payable to "George Mason University") or cash to the Center for Field Studies office at 433 Enterprise Hall.
