Mason Gives Back

Patriots committed to making a difference in the community!
Welcome to the Mason Gives Back website.  Several offices at George Mason came together to recreate Mason Gives Back. The goal is to create a more centralized and collaborative approach to community engagement on campus.This website is designed for students, faculty, staff, alum, student organizations, community organizations and departments to share any upcoming service projects or initiatives you have going on. This is a great way to promote both small and large scale service projects (ex: food drives, blood drives, food packaging events, clean up projects, philanthropic projects, etc.) Community Partners- To share a volunteer opportunity or position, please fill out this form and let us know if you have any additional questions. It will take us up to a week to post your positions. 

Volunteer Fairfax  

This local volunteer center maintains a database of current volunteer opportunities, which you can search by your own criteria, such as: location, volunteer interests or your applicable skills. Volunteer Fairfax is the primary place the nonprofits and service agencies in our area post both their volunteer and their donation needs. 

Connect Northern Virginia

This website, developed through leadership from Mason professor Alan Abramson, has a searchable database of every nonprofit organization in the area.
